This week we did a survey with 70 P2P professionals asking them if their e-invoicing project would be live by December 2010. 89% answered ‘Yes’. The importance of having a clean, automated, and touchless purchase-to-pay process has significantly increased in the past 6 months. Information concerning the movement of cash-in and cash-out feeds cashflow forecasting which contributes to a company’s survival.
So 89% said they would be live by December 2010… but are they ready? Are they process-mature enough to guarantee success and avoid ‘fall outs’? Do they have the volumes to ensure a business case? Do they have the confidence or inclination to mandate e invoicing? If you are planning on e-invoicing in the next 2 years we highly recommend you attend one or both of the two sharedserviceslink.com conferences in June and July (by attending both you receive a generous 50% discount off one of the events):
